Hi, I'm Kareem.
I fix tech for humans.
I'm a one-person tech operation in Chatsworth, California. I help families and small businesses negotiate their bills, set up their devices, and get back to doing the things actual technology is supposed to make easier.
I built this entire platform myself, for my own business, in 30 days. If you're here you're probably wondering whether I'm the right person to help with yours. The honest answer: only if you want someone who explains every step.
How I got here.
I didn't plan to start a tech company. I started Adventure Family Getaways a decade ago to put a roof over our heads — short-term rentals, long-term stays, private events. Real estate, hospitality, the works.
But guests kept asking me to help with the Wi-Fi. To mount their TV. To set up the smart lock. To explain why their phone wasn't connecting to the speaker. So I started saying yes, and it turned out I was better at the tech than most of the technicians I'd ever hired. So I made it a service.
Then I noticed my own bills were absurd. Spectrum was charging me $215/month for an internet bundle I'd been on for 4 years — the original promo had expired in 2022 and they never told me. One 22-minute call to retention got it down to $115. I started doing the same thing for guests, then friends, then my members.
That's when I realized: most people don't know what they're paying for, and they can't bring themselves to call and find out. But I can. I'm patient on hold. I know the scripts. I know what to ask for. And I know how to set up a phone without losing your photos.
So now I do it for people — both as one-off services and as a monthly membership. And in 2026 I built the entire technology platform you're reading right now, in 30 days, to prove I could. Here's the case study.
How I work, in five rules.
These aren't marketing values. They're how I actually answer the phone, run a job, and write an invoice.
Pick up the phone.
Tech is human. Real people fix real problems. There is no “ticket queue” — you call or text me directly, and I respond within 2 hours during business hours.
Flat rates. No surprises.
Every service has a posted price. No diagnostic fees. No “we'll get back to you with an estimate.” If I can't fix it in the first hour, you don't pay for that hour.
Teach, don't gatekeep.
Free downloads, transparent pricing, explained invoices. If you want to do it yourself, I'll show you how. If you'd rather have me handle it, the door's open.
Patient with non-techies.
If you've ever been made to feel stupid by a tech person, that won't happen here. I'll explain it as many times as you need, in plain English, with no condescension.
Family-first business.
This is named “Adventure Family Getaways” for a reason. I'm a husband, a homeowner, an operator. I get what's at stake when your tech goes sideways during the family dinner.
Earn the second engagement.
My rates are deliberately under-market on the first job. I'd rather you hire me again because the work was good than convince you with a pitch deck.
Who I'm for — and who I'm not.
Saying no to the wrong fit is a kindness to both of us. Here's where I'm strong, and where I'd refer you out.
You're a great fit if…
- You're a family, small business owner, or solo operator in LA / Ventura County
- You want one person who knows your setup, not a rotating cast of techs
- You're tired of being on hold for bills and just want them handled
- You're comfortable texting (818) 402-7326 to start a conversation
- You appreciate transparent pricing more than slick sales pitches
- You'd rather pay a fair flat rate than gamble on hourly billing
I'm not the right fit if…
- You need enterprise IT for 50+ employees (call a managed-service provider)
- You need 24/7 on-call coverage at the Sprint or Half-Time tier — only at Full-Time
- You want me to train AI models or do native mobile dev — not my lane
- You need someone who'll bury hidden fees or pad hours — that's not the model
- You won't trust a flat-rate quote — we'll struggle
- You expect overnight turnaround on complex projects — quality takes time
The simplest version: text me.
No discovery-call funnel. No 40-minute Zoom before we discuss price. Tell me what you need, in plain English, and I'll reply within a few hours.
