Spectrum raised your bill.
Here's the call that lowers it.
Promo pricing expires quietly. The equipment rental never does. This is the word-for-word retention and cancellation script I give my clients — the same one that pulls $30–70 a month back out of a typical Spectrum bill.
Why your bill keeps climbing
None of this is a billing error. It's the pricing model working exactly as designed — and it only reverses when you call.
The promo expired
Introductory pricing runs 12–24 months, then rolls to standard rate without a phone call, a letter, or a warning line on the bill.
The equipment rental
Roughly $14–18/mo for a router you could own outright for a one-time $80–150. Over three years that single line is $500+.
Loyalty isn't automatic
New customers get the deal. Long-tenured accounts get annual increases. Retention has better pricing — but only for people who ask.

Or don't call at all.
Inner Circle handles it.
Most people read this page, agree with it, and never make the call. That's what the pricing model counts on. So there's a second option: send me the bill and I run every one of these calls for you.
- Spectrum, AT&T, Verizon, cell, streaming, alarm, and card fees
- Flat monthly rate — no percentage of your savings, unlike Billshark or Rocket Money
- Re-negotiated before every promo expires, so it doesn't creep back
- Plus on-demand hours for the rest of the household tech stack
DIY vs. done-for-you
Do it yourself
Everything on this page, no email required. Budget 25 minutes and expect one round of pushback. Set a reminder for six months out — discounts expire on purpose.

Questions
Can you actually negotiate a Spectrum bill?
Yes. Retention agents can reinstate promo pricing and apply loyalty credits that regular support has no access to — especially with a real competitor quote in hand and a willingness to schedule a disconnect.
How much do homeowners usually save?
Most land between $30 and $70 a month once the promo is reinstated and the equipment rental is removed. It varies by market, tenure, and whether a fiber competitor serves your address.
Do I have to actually cancel?
No. Putting a cancellation request on file and asking for a few days to decide is usually what routes you to the save team. You can withdraw it at any point.
What if I bought my own router already?
Check the bill anyway. Equipment lines survive returns all the time. If it's still there, use the equipment line in step 03 and ask for retroactive credit.
Why is a Realtor giving this away?
Because owning a home is more than the mortgage, and recurring bills are the easiest place to get money back. The script is free. If you'd rather never sit on hold, that's what Inner Circle is for.
